Once upon a time, some enterprising Yale student asked former university president Kingman Brewster to define Yale Blue, to which KB responded: “well, it’s relatively dark blue–neither purple, nor green.” What an asshole! Yale’s come a long way since. Neither of these people were members of WYBC Yale Radio, or knew what a zine was. RDBNPNG, established in 2010, is our music and culture zine, straight from the mouths of the kids clawing at the deep blue skirts of Mother Yale for content and realness.
